Kilibound Adventures – Booking Policy
At Kilibound Adventures, we aim to provide a seamless and memorable experience for all our guests. This Booking Policy outlines the procedures, requirements, and responsibilities for securing and managing your tour reservations. By booking with us, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Booking Confirmation

All bookings are confirmed in writing via email.

A deposit is required to secure your reservation. Your booking is considered confirmed only after receipt of deposit.

Full payment must be received prior to the start date of your tour.
2. Deposit & Payment Terms

A 30% deposit is required at the time of booking.

The remaining 70% balance must be paid at least 30 days before departure.

For bookings made less than 30 days before the tour start, full payment is required immediately.

Payments may be made via bank transfer or other secure methods provided at the time of booking.
3. Cancellations & Refunds
If you need to cancel your tour, the following fees apply:

Refunds are processed within 14 business days.

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover unexpected cancellations.
4. Changes by the Traveler

Requests to change booking details (dates, traveler names, itinerary adjustments) must be made in writing.

Changes are subject to availability and may incur additional fees.
5. Changes by Kilibound Adventures

In rare circumstances, we may modify itineraries due to weather, park regulations, safety concerns, or operational issues.

When changes occur, we will offer suitable alternatives or upgrades whenever possible to ensure your experience remains enjoyable.
6. Travel Insurance

All guests must have valid travel insurance covering:

Medical emergencies

Trip cancellation

Personal injury

High-altitude trekking (if climbing Kilimanjaro or Mount Meru)

Proof of insurance may be requested prior to departure.
7. Health & Fitness Requirements

Guests must be medically fit for the activities included in the tour.

High-altitude treks require a reasonable level of fitness and a medical check-up is recommended.

Travelers are responsible for disclosing any medical conditions that may affect their participation.
8. Traveler Responsibilities
Guests are expected to:

Arrive on time for all tour departures

Follow local laws, park rules, and guide instructions

Carry necessary travel documents, passports, and visas

Respect fellow travelers, staff, and local communities
9. Liability

Kilibound Adventures, its employees, and affiliates cannot be held liable for injury, illness, delays, or additional expenses caused by circumstances beyond our control, including natural events, accidents, or government actions.

Participation in tours is at the traveler’s own risk.
