9 Days Delightful Safari in Tanzania will start and ends in Arusha Town, the 9-day delightful safari in Tanzania will give you an amazing experience in Northern Tanzania National Parks such as Arusha National Park,Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, Serengeti National Park not only National Parks but also you will have the chance to visit one of the Wonderful Tanzanian Conservation Area Known as Ngorongoro. This Conservation is the 8th wonder of the world and descends into the crater for a game drive. You will also be taken to Lake Eyasi for Cultural Tour (Hadzabe and Datoga Bushmen) in this society depending on hunting and gathering. You will view spot a lot of wildlife species found in Serengeti National Parks and the great annual migration of Wildebeest in the Serengeti if you have time at a specific time of the year. Some of the common animals to spot in these national parks include; lions, zebras, warthogs, antelopes, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, wildebeest, and if you are lucky you can also see Cheetah, the black rhinos, and Leopard. Apart from Animals, you will also see different species of birds like flamingoes, ostrich, Hong bills, secretary birds, Pelicans, and others. Day 0: Kilimanjaro International Airport – Arusha
Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport where our very professional Driver Guide from Kilibound adventures will be waiting for you with a warm welcoming smile. Kick back and relax in your comfortable vehicle as he drive you to your hotel in Arusha. While at your hotel, your driver will give you short briefing about Arusha City. After arrive in your Hotel depending on the time you can have a pre-safari briefing but if it will be late then you can for rest and have a safari briefing the next day in the morning before starting your 9 Days Delightful Safari in Tanzania to the wilderness. Dinner and Overnight will be at the Hotel in Arusha town.
Day 1: Arusha National Park
In the morning after having your breakfast at the Hotel we will pick you from your hotel and drive to Arusha National Park. This park has an incredible variety of flora and fauna which cannot fail to impress. Your safari to Arusha National Park will include a visit to the Ngurudoto Crater. Waterbuck Buffaloes, giraffes, warthogs, zebras and baboons can be seen all year round as well as many different bird species. At the Momella Gate, an armed ranger will be waiting for you to accompany you on your walking safari that will give you the chance to experience the wildlife up-close. Only a few other national parks in Tanzania give you such an opportunity and it is something that should not be missed. Lunch will be taken at a picnic place and in the afternoon, you will continue your tour in the safari vehicle through the Arusha National Park. After plenty of time allocated for you to observe the wildlife, we will take you back to the Hotel for Dinner and Overnight.
Day 2: Tarangire National Park
After breakfast in your Hotel, Departure with packed lunch boxes to Tarangire National Park for game drive. This Park is a sixth largest national parks in Tanzania with area of 2700 sq. kilometers which is located in Manyara Region(Manyara park, Tarangire park Eco- System)This park is characterized by the large herds of Elephants(Call it home of Elephants), tree climbing Pythons, Over 400 species of birds. And the fascinating of Baobab trees. Baobab trees. It is also called the Trees of Life for its almost mythical powers that some cultures attach to it. The name of the park came from Tarangire River which flows water almost all year round and it is the only water source for wild animals during rains and dry seasons. Later evening drive to Lodge in Karatu Town for Dinner and Overnight Full board.
Day 3: Fanaka Lodge to Serengeti National Park
Directly after finishing up a good breakfast at the Lodge early in the morning, you will head out towards Serengeti National Park and travel in the midst of the never ending plain grasslands. On transit to Serengeti National Park we will have to pass to the Maasai Boma village for cultural tourism. Later on we proceed to Serengeti with en-route game drive. The Serengeti National Park is arguably the most impressive wildlife sanctuary in the world. You will have a late afternoon game drive in the endless plains of the Serengeti for a chance to see the great herds of wildebeest, zebras and gazelles or a pride of lions lounging in the shade. A picnic lunch will be done during the day long game drive itself. The eventful day comes to an end with a heavy dinner and a good night’s rest in your accommodation. Dinner and Overnight at Serengeti National Park.
Day 4: Full Day Game drive Serengeti National Park
You can both have a relaxed breakfast and depart for full day game drives around 9:00 AM with packed lunch, or you can depart at 6:00 AM on an early morning game drive. Later return to accommodation for breakfast and relax for a bit and depart on an afternoon game drive with packed lunch. You will explore the central portion of the Serengeti National Park today. The legendary Serengeti National Park is the most renowned safari destination for its incredible population of lions and leopards. The central portion of the Serengeti – known as Seronera area is one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park. It features the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. During the off season of the migration, one must really look out for the many lion pride that thrive in this region. The interactions and survival of these lion pride provide an excellent game viewing experience all year round. Along with a picnic lunch during the full day game drive evening we will have dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Serengeti National Park
Another day in the Serengeti National Park. We are completely flexible with your preferences and this day will be doing another full game drive since the Serengeti is large and vast we can find different areas to exploit and spot animals and when you are lucky enough you can even see some events such as animal hunting and fighting. On every day of the safari, your guide will discuss with you the best timings for you, including the game drives and the wake up time. For example, on this day, you could do an early morning game drive which start before sun-rise. Then back to your lodge for drinking tea and coffee. After that drive back to the Park to finish with an afternoon game drive, with picnic lunch. Later evening Dinner and Overnight at Serengeti.
Day 6: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
Early breakfast, around 6:00 depart from Serengeti game drives on the way to Ngorongoro then descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife. Supported by a year round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area supports vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park, is its dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. We will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds can usually been seen here. In the evening drive to Lodge for Dinner and Overnight.
Day 7: Lake Eyasi Cultural Tour (Hadzabe and Datoga Bushmen)
Early Breakfast we depart the camp around 6:00 am for hunting with the Hadzabe Bushmen. This tribe is one of the last hunter-gatherer societies in the world. Their meals is only honey, meat and Wild Fruits. They also believe on traditional medicine rather than going to hospital. After your morning hunt, you will have chance to visit the Datoga tribe, skilled craftsmen, and blacksmiths. After your amazing cultural experience, you will be transferred the accommodation at the lodge for a relaxation later on dinner and overnight.
Day 8: Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast we drive to Lake Manyara National Park with picnic lunch boxes. Lake Manyara National Park is 330sqkm large. This Park is one of small parks of Tanzania National Parks but it is scenic safari Park for bird watching and good area to find elephants, giraffes, zebras, baboons, warthog, buffaloes etc. This Park is also potential excitement of spotting a legendary Lake Manyara Tree- climbing lions. Acacia woodlands, water forests, baobab strewn cliffs, algae-streaked hot springs, swamps and the lake itself. And thanks to this the small Park is able to support a large number of animal species and incredible bird life.On this day you will have an option for Cultural tour in Maasai bomas. Later on you will leave to an Arusha town for dinner and Overnight.And this will be the last day of our Delightful Safari in Tanzania for 9 days with Kilibound Adventures.
Day 9: Departure Day
On this day if you have a spare time basing on your Airplane flight time and you wish to have a town tour in Arusha our driver guide will give you such amazing experience in this beautiful town, before he transfer you to Kilimanjaro Airport.
