Some of the common animals to spot in these national parks include; lions, zebras, warthogs, antelopes, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, wildebeest, and if you are lucky you can also see Cheetah, the black rhinos, and Leopard. DAY 0: KILIMANJARO AIRPORT – ARUSHA
Arrival Kilimanjaro International Airport where you will be met and assisted by our Kilibound Adventures Tour consultant Manager and driver ready for transfer you to hotel in Arusha for briefing from our guide and later Dinner and Overnight. If your flight will arrive early we can offer you free town Tour. Also today depending on your flight time and weather, if the sky will be clear you will see Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru from Kilimanjaro Airport so keep your eyes opened.
DAY 1: ARUSHA NATIONAL PARK GATE TO MARIAKAMBA HUT
In the morning, you will proceed with our Meru Trek 3 days 2 nights from your lodge and taken to the Mount Meru main gate.
With lunch boxes will start hiking via Maria Kamba hut. The night will be spent at the Miriakamba Hut. Before dinner we will have a little bit of acclimatization.

DAY 2: MARIA KAMBA HUT TO SADDLE HUT – SADDLE HUT TO SUMMIT
In the morning you will pack your lunch boxes follow wooden steps along a steep track. Back at Saddle Hut you will have a before you retire to bed early as your wake-up call will be just after midnight.
After a small snack and some tea, you will leave the camp at around 2am. Lighting the way with headlamps, you will follow the trail through bush land to Rhino Point (3,821 m). From here the path becomes more challenging and occasionally climbing will be necessary. You will walk on frozen volcanic ash and rocks, following the crater rim. After about 4 to 5 hours you should reach the summit, Socialist Peak. Experience the sun rising above Mt Kilimanjaro and enjoy the fantastic view of Mt Meru’s crater with its steep sides and the ash cone in the middle. The descent follows the same route back to Saddle Hut where you will take a break and recuperate with hot soup and tea. Once refreshed, you will continue the descent and during the early afternoon you should reach Miriakamba Hut – tired but happy.

DAY 3: SADDLE HUT TO MOMELLA MAIN GATE
After breakfast, you will follow the so-called northern route – a 2 to 3 hours trek back to the Momella Gate. The descent follows a shorter route than the ascent but there is still a chance to see elephants, buffaloes. In case of (tiredness) will call the rescue car to Maria Kamba hut After exit regulations in Momella gate, we head for our lodgings for further dining, relaxation, and a casting of the mind back over the sights of the day, then drive back to Arusha town for an overnight in Arusha.
DAY 4: ARUSHA – TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
Our safari driver guide will meet you at the hotel in Arusha and start your best Tanzania Safaris will take you to the beautiful Tarangire National Park where we undertake our first day of game drives. Tarangire well known for its elephant populations we may hope to see zebra, wildebeest, buffalo, elephant, and giraffe, to name a few. It is possible we will glimpse our friend Leo Panther, Simba, the mighty lion stalking his prey, or the leopard watching and relaxing in the trees above. An ornithological paradise, some four hundred and fifty birds have been here identified. With the day coming to a close and the sun setting over The Rift Valley our driver will take us to our selected lodgings in Mto wa Mbu near Manyara National Park where our lodge is located for a dinner and overnight. DAY 5: LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK After having breakfast you will be driven to Manyara National Park which will be the last National Park you will visit in the Northern circuit. This park is famous for its tree climbing lions. The large part of this wonderful Park is covered by the alkaline Manyara lake which is seasonally visited by the large flamingos and many other water birds. Along the shores of the lake, you will spot many animals including the elephants, hippos, Giraffes, buffalos, antelopes, banded mongoose and the gazelles. After animals, birds, trees watching, drive back to our lodge for Dinner and Overnight. DAY 6 : LAKE NATRON EXPEDITION Soon after having your breakfast depart for Lake Natron with lunch boxes. Arrive in the afternoon. A short tour to Lake Natron on foot. Lake Natron is one of the major flamingo breeding areas. Evening, visit the nearby waterfalls for a swim in the river and also visit a Maasai family for a short cultural interaction. Dinner then preparation to go at the base of the Mt. Oldoinyo Lengai where you will have a good view of this active volcanic mountain. Transfer to the base of Lengai public campsite where you will have Dinner and overnight. DAY 7 & 8 :LAKE NATRON TO NORTHERN SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK After breakfast, we will drives on the way to Serengeti National Park Lobo area with picnic lunch. Serengeti National Park is among other incredible wildlife and stunning views, is famed for the annual migration of over 1.5 million wildebeest and hundred thousands of zebras, a frenzied bout of territorial conquests and mating happening from July to October. Witness actual survival of the fittest as these animals plunge through crocodile-infested waters. Do game drives in this wonderful plains. Evening drive back to campsite in Northern Serengeti for Dinner and Overnight. We have another full day in this wonderful park, rising early to make the most of our time. Our guides will choose the best spotting locations for the time of year; we can spend time at the Hippo pool watching these animals laze about in the cool water happily living alongside the crocodiles, watch a big pride of lions, be in the middle of the migration, sometimes surrounded by wildebeest, sometimes by zebras, which travel with the wildebeest. We will have a game drive along the Mara river where if you will be luck enough you will see the beautiful wildebeest crossing the river. We journey from the wide open plains to the kopjes, these volcanic rocky outcrops provide protection and shelter for a wide variety of animals and from the top we can look out across the vast grasslands of the Serengeti. This diverse and interesting landscape will provide us with the ultimate in game viewing, we will hopefully see all of the plain games; elephants, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, lions and if you are lucky the exclusive leopard and cheetah, as well as different species of interesting bird life, from the elegant secretary birds to the flightless ostrich. We return to the lodge for Dinner and Overnight. DAY 9:NGORONGORO CRATER TOUR Early start today after breakfast for our breakfast we will proceed with our Tanzania Safaris we will descend the bumpy winding track noting our passage through several climatic zones into the Crater and, very quickly, we will be able to see wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, elephant, and some of the more than 500 bird species in the area. Home to ‘the big five, elephant, lion, buffalo, leopard, and rhino, we may hope to encounter at least some of these creatures and, with a little bit of luck, we may even catch a glimpse of the endangered black rhino through the grass. Due to its dense animal population of approximately 25,000, the Crater offers the best game viewing of all the parks in Tanzania. After our picnic lunch at the hippo pools and a full afternoon inside the caldera, we head for our lodgings for further dining, relaxation, and a casting of the mind back over the sights and sounds of the day, then drive back to Arusha for an overnight at Karatu town nearby Ngorongoro. DAY 10: HADZABE AND DATOGA CULTURAL TOUR Early Breakfast at your Camp thereafter depart the camp around for hunting with the Hadzabe Bushmen. This tribe is one of the last hunter-gatherer societies in the world. Their meals is only honey, meat and Wild Fruits. They also believe on traditional medicine rather than going to hospital. After your morning hunt, you will have chance to visit the Datoga tribe, skilled craftsmen, and blacksmiths. After your amazing cultural experience, you will be transferred back to Karatu for Dinner and Overnight. DAY 11:ARUSHA TOWN –DEPARTURE DAY Late Morning after breakfast in Karatu you will be going back to Arusha town en route to Lake Manyara crater rim for some picture before heading to Arusha town for some town tour ,then heading to the Kilimanjaro International Airport ready to catch your flight to your next destination |
