13 DAYS TANZANIA AND ZANZIBAR SAFARI OVERVIEWS

13 Days Tanzania and  Zanzibar  Safari Beach Holidays will start in Arusha town and ends in  Zanzibar, wildlife safari will give you an amazing experience in  Northern Tanzania National Parks such as Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, not only National Parks but also you will have the chance to visit one of the Wonderful Tanzanian Conservation Area Known as Ngorongoro. This Conservation is the 8th wonder of the world and descends into the crater for a game drive, later on, you will fly to Zanzibar Beaches to complete your holiday in amazing Zanzibar Beaches. You will view spot a lot of wildlife species found in Serengeti National Parks and the great annual migration of Wildebeest in the Serengeti if you have time at a specific time of the year. Some of the common animals to spot in these national parks include; lions, zebras, warthogs, antelopes, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, wildebeest, and if you are lucky you can also see Cheetah, the black rhinos, and Leopard. Apart from Animals, you will also see different species of birds like flamingoes, ostrich, Hong bills, secretary birds, Pelicans, and others. DAY 0: ARRIVAL IN ARUSHA

We will pick you up from Kilimanjaro Airport and continue to Arusha town for dinner and overnight at the hotel in Arusha. Depending on your time of arrival, a complimentary town tour to explore Arusha town, visit a local market, and a traditional bar can be arranged. Later you will be taken back to your hotel for Tanzania and Zanzibar Safari  briefing and overnight and dinner ready to prepare for your Safari tomorrow.

DAY 1: ARUSHA NATIONAL PARK TOUR

In the morning after having your breakfast we will pick you from your hotel and drive to Arusha National Park. This park has an incredible variety of flora and fauna which cannot fail to impress. Your safari to Arusha National Park will include a visit to the Ngurdo Crater. Waterbuck Buffaloes, giraffes, warthogs, zebras and baboons can be seen all year round as well as many different bird species. At the Momella Gate, an armed ranger will be waiting for you to accompany you on your walking safari that will give you the chance to experience the wildlife up-close. Only a few other national parks in Tanzania give you such an opportunity and it is something that should not be missed. Lunch will be taken at a picnic place and in the afternoon, you will continue your tour in the safari vehicle through the Arusha National Park. After plenty of time allocated for you to observe the wildlife, we will take you back to Lodge for Dinner and Overnight.

DAY 2: ARUSHA – TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

You will be picked up from your accommodation around 9 am and depart for Tarangire National Park for a game drive until the later afternoon. This National Park, gazette in 1970, is 130km away from Arusha town, which covers an area of 2500sq km that’s about 1600 miles and derivers its name from the Tarangire River that flows through the center of the park. The river flows from south to north/northwest and empties its water in Lake Burungi. An exceptional collection of “Acacia Tortils” and baobab trees have become synonymous with the name Tarangire National Park Picnic lunch will be provided inside the park and the dinner will be served at the Lodge and Overnight.

DAY 3: TARANGIRE – SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, drive to Serengeti National Park with picnic lunch boxes upon arrive en-route game viewing. The Serengeti National Park is one of the most famous National park in Africa and offers some of the best wildlife viewing in the World was established. It is home to the greatest Wildlife spectacle on earth the great migration of wildebeest and zebras, Populations of predators and iconic wildlife such as Elephants, Giraffes, Topi, Elands, Grants and Thomson gazelles and black Rhinos. The Serengeti is a vast ecosystem in east Africa according to NASA, giving rise to its name which is derived from the Maasai language and means endless plains. Later drive towards the dinner and overnight at the lodge.

DAY 4: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, departure for full day game drive within park, The Serengeti plain is highlighted by granite outcropping known as Kopjes. They were formed when the volcanoes of the Ngorongoro highlands erupted over one million years ago spewing ash over the southernmost third of the Serengeti to create a rich and fertile soil that produces short and sweet grass when it rains. Serengeti National Park is among of incredible wildlife and stunning views, famous for annual migration of Wildebeest over 1.5 million. And over eight hundred thousands of zebras, Hundreds of thousands of Gazelles, the mating happening from May – June. At western corridor of Serengeti and dropping calves happening in south west of Serengeti Ndutu areas. Later evening drive to the lodge for Dinner and Overnight.

DAY 5: SERENGETI – NGORONGORO CRATER

After early breakfast, Departure with picnic lunch boxes for another game viewing in Serengeti National Park take look on kopjes one of the most beautiful areas of Serengeti to view Lions, Leopards and Cheetahs on these spectacular granite kopjes in the Central Serengeti. Later afternoon drive to the Lodge for Dinner and overnight.

DAY 6: WALKING EMBAKAAI CRATER.

After breakfast we drive to Embakaai Crater for walking tour in the area. From the Embakaai Crater rim you will have a wonderful view to the Crater itself and its green paradise. The Caldera is about 6km wide and nearly half of its floor is covered by the lake. Water in the lake inside the Crater is alkaline and the depth of the lake is abut 83m deep. Views along the trail downwards are spectacular at every point. While you are here you will enjoy the views of Embakaai Crater itself. Apart from that on the northern and eastern side you can sport our dramatic cone of the still active volcano of Oldoinyo Lengai. If the sky of that day will be clear is possible to see even beyond to the dramatic cone of the still active volcano of Oldoinyo Lengai to the Great Valley and Lake Natron. Sometimes you can even see the distant snow of Mount Kilimanjaro. Walking on this area you will be accompanied by armed ranger because there is big possibility to meet wild animals. In the evening drive to Lodge for Dinner and Overnight.

DAY 7: CULTURAL TOUR LAKE EYASI.

Early breakfast, thereafter go for cultural tour around Lake Eyasi Villages. This tour will take to Lake Eyasi which is located in the Rift Valley South of Ngorongoro Highlands. Lake Eyasi is home to various rare species, rare birds and reptiles to mention. Lake Eyasi is beautifully fringed by the Great Rift walls to the west and the highland to the North offering a magnificent view. Hunter’s community of Hadzabe thrive live by hunting, honey and fruits, Lake Eyasi is their home. We also have another tribe known as Datoga who are expert to traditional healer. They are good in discovering herbs that can cure various diseases. You will also Visit Black Smith to experience ancient black smith skill. In the evening drive back to the Lodge for Dinner and Overnight.

DAY 8: LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK – NATIONAL PARK – ZANZIBAR

Today we will drive to Lake Manyara National Park. We will arrive there around 10 am then start game drives till lunch time when you will get short stop to take lunch at picnic site. Thereafter proceed with game drives for the rest hours of day. This is one of Tanzania’s smaller parks but still offers a rewarding and diverse safari experience. The lakeshore at Manyara teems with birdlife, and while you are looking for the birds, you might spot one of the elusive tree-climbing lions. There are a surprising number of other large mammals and the striking cliffs on the Rift escarpment form a dramatic backdrop. In the afternoon drive to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar. On arrival at Zanzibar Airport we will pick you for transfer to Hotel for Overnight on BB.

DAY 9 -12 LEISURE AND OCEAN PARADISE BEACH HOTEL.

You will spend the day relaxing at the beach. Alternatively, the lodge organizes activities like village walk, scuba diving, snorkeling, jet skiing, fishing and others that you can book and pay directly. All meals and overnight will be at the hotel. So for these 3 days you will have plenty of activities to do.

After breakfast, you will drive to the Stone town where you will do a spice tour (Zanzibar spices are very famous worldwide). Later you will visit the historical Zanzibar Stone town. In the late afternoon, you return to your hotel for dinner and overnight

DAY 13: DEPARTURE

You will wake up and have a leisurely breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast we will be transferred to Zanzibar airport for your departure, depending on your international flight. You may want to fly to Dar es Salaam for your international flight connection as there is more flight options in Dar es Salaam.
