The wild firmament of Tanzania offers the ultimate paradise for birding admirer. While there’s plenty of bird-watching opportunities in Tanzania, you will get a wonderful experience being guided by Kilibound Adventures professionals. The huge list of bird species to be found in Lake Manyara especially  make bird watching safaris in Tanzania the most sought after activity among bird lovers.

The Lake Manyara National Park has more than 350 species of birds including acacia associated birds, raptors, Eurasian migrant birds and 3 endangered Tanzanian species.

Our beautiful Lake Manyara National Park  alongside with Lake Natron also offer great opportunities of Flamingo watching as they gather on the lake shore in flocks of hundred thousand. Lake Natron is the flamingoes breeding ground and Lake Manyara is their feeding ground. Some of the birds you will see in Lake Manyara are Crowned Plover, Grey Crowned Crane, Fischer’s Sparrow Lark, Two-banded courser and the Black-faced Sandgrouse. The bush clups on the edge of the floodplain is occupied by groups of Long-tailed fiscal, the rare Pangani Longclaw. The birds in the Lake Manyara forest are some to mention the Silvery-cheeked Hornbill,  Schalow’s Turaco, Emerald Cuckoo, Narina Trogon, Crowned Hornbill, Crowned Eagle and ground dwelling Crested Guinea fowl

Tarangire National Park is great  for bird-watching  with more than 500 species of bird found recorded currently. The park harbors several dry-country bird species at the extremity of their range, such as the northern pied babbler and vulturine Guinea fowl. Serious bird-lovers should also keep an eye open for flocks of the dazzlingly colorful yellow-collared lovebird, and the somewhat drabber rufous-tailed weaver and ashy starling – all restricted to the dry savannah of north-central Tanzania. Migratory birds are present from November to April.
