You will reach your accommodation in time for you to settle in and enjoy a lunch. In the afternoon you will enjoy an afternoon game drive. Tarangire National Park is dominated by the perennial Tarangire River and is characteristically known for its giant baobab trees that stretch and wind their branches into the blue sky. The most spectacular feature of Tarangire is its large elephant population. In fact, it has the largest population of any park in northern Tanzania. These gentle giants abound in excess of 3,000. Tarangire is currently experiencing and elephant baby boom and you will notice a lot of juniors and babies as members of the herd. Also expect to see zebra, eland, mongoose, giraffe, bush-buck, hartebeest, dik-dik, impala, warthog, and reed-buck. Primates you may encounter are olive baboon, velvet monkey and bush baby. Many carnivores are abundant throughout the park such as lion, leopard, cheetah, hyena and jackal. Game drives will be done till evening the time you will be driven to the Lodge for Dinner and Overnight.

DAY 2: GAME DRIVE IN LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK
Morning breakfast will be followed by a drive to Lake Manyara National Park, we will arrive early around 9 then start game drives till lunch time when you will get short stop to take lunch at picnic site. Thereafter proceed with game drives for the rest hours of day. This is one of Tanzania’s smaller parks but still offers a rewarding and diverse safari experience. The lake-shore at Manyara teems with bird-life, and while you are looking for the birds, you might spot one of the elusive tree-climbing lions. There are a surprising number of other large mammals and the striking cliffs on the Rift escarpment form a dramatic backdrop. In the evening we make a short journey from the park to the Lodge for Dinner and Overnight.

DAY 3: SERENGETI WILDEBEEST MIGRATION TRACKING
After healthy breakfast, we drive heading to Serengeti National Park on transit to Ngorongoro conservation area with en-route game drive. On the way to Serengeti National Park you will have an optional to visit Olduvai Gorge with extra cost of $35 per person. It is within steep sided ravine that Louis and Mary Leakey made some of the world’s most important archaeological discovering in the late 1950’s. Here there is a small museum we are able to see evidence of our ancestors that have been dated back 2.5 million years. After lunch in Olduvai Gorge area we will continue with a drive to the Serengeti itself and the rest of the afternoon is spent game viewing in the vast plains that are broken only by stands of acacia trees and the occasional kopje. In December, February and March we will normally meet the migration with large herds of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle. There are always plenty of resident animals, such as giraffe, buffalo, and elephant, and many large predators such as lion, cheetah, and leopard. We return to the lodge for Dinner and Overnight.

DAY 4: SERENGETI WILDEBEEST MIGRATION TRACKING
We will have another full day in this wonderful park, rising early to make the most of our time. Our guides will choose the best spotting locations for the time of year; we can spend time at the Hippo pool watching these majestic animals laze about in the cool water happily living alongside the crocodiles, watch a big pride of lions, be in the middle of the migration, sometimes surrounded by wildebeest, sometimes by zebras, which travel with the wildebeest. We journey from the wide open plains to the kopjes which are volcanic rocky outcrops provide protection and shelter for a wide variety of animals and from the top we can look out across the vast grasslands of the Serengeti. This diverse and interesting landscape will provide us with the ultimate in game viewing, we will hopefully see all of the plain games; elephants, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, lions and if you are lucky the exclusive leopard and cheetah, as well as different species of interesting bird life, from the elegant secretary birds to the flightless ostrich. We return to Serengeti for Dinner and Overnight.

DAY 5: SERENGETI WILDEBEEST MIGRATION TRACKING
After breakfast take the packed lunch with you then proceed with the game drive in the Serengeti National Park. The migration can be seen on a long chain approximately 40 Km heading to the south western direction. Around 1230 and 1300 break for your lunch. After having our lunch we will proceed with our game viewing following the move of the migrants on the southwest of the park. Approximately 1.3 million wildebeest, 250000 gazelles and 200000 Zebras have been recorded sharing the short grass. Dinner and Overnight at Serengeti.

DAY 6: GAME DRIVE IN NGORONGORO CRATER
Two game drives on this day. We will start the day with an early morning game drive for about 2 hours. Thereafter drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The Ngorongoro is a Conservation Area, not a National Park; this means that, the conservation is managed with both the Wild animals and the local Masai people who graze their cattle alongside the indigenous wildlife. During the drive to Ngorongoro we have a chance to glimpse something of the Masai way of life. After stopping at the entrance gate, where there is a chance to learn more about this fascinating volcanic landscape, we will drive around the rim of the Crater itself, and from here we can look down and see the herd of wildebeest or buffalo. Finally we descend into the crater. The crater walls provide a natural sanctuary for the animals, which means there is plenty to see: lions, elephants, buffalo, rhino and leopard (if you are lucky). The only animal you won’t see in here is a giraffe, whose long legs are unable to cope with the steeps sides of the crater. In the evening you will be driven to Karatu town for Dinner and Overnight.

DAY 7: MTO WA MBU CULTURAL TOUR – ARUSHA
Mto wa Mbu Village is situated on the way to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Northern Tanzania just at the foot of the Great East African Rift Valle. It is an ideal resting place for most safari travelers. To day you will have enough time to visit a Maasai boma and see the lifestyle of this legendary tribe up-close. Along with a guided tour of the boma and an introduction to the local Masai population, tribesmen will offer to paint traditional Masai tattoos for visitors and even let them milk their prized cows. Not only that but also you will visit Mto wa Mbu local Market where more than 120 tribes who lives around this village are selling their products to both local and foreigners visitors. In the evening you will be driven to Lodge for Dinner and Overnight.

DAY 8: ARUSHA NATIONAL PARK – KILIMANJARO AIRPORT
After breakfast you will meet our professional tour guide-driver, who will deliver a short safari info briefing, after which we travel east to the Arusha National Park. This small but beautiful Tanzanian National Park is the closest national park to both the famous Arusha as well as the Kilimanjaro International Airport, thus making it ideal for 1-day safaris or tours. Not only is the animal life in the park abundant, but it is also one of the most beautiful and topographically varied parks in Tanzania. The park’s three most significant features include the rugged Mount Meru (Tanzania’s second highest peak at 4566m), the notably different colored Momela Lakes, and the 3km wide Ngurdoto Crater, which was formed about fifteen million years ago! We will enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park and do a morning and afternoon game drive, visiting both the Momela Lakes and the Ngurdoto Crater. Wildlife which could be seen include African buffalo, elephants, hippos, giraffe, warthogs, antelopes, zebras, blue monkeys and sometimes a rare leopard or hyena. Late afternoon we depart for Arusha where we will end our safari adventure. Game drives will be done till evening the time you will be driven back to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight back home. This will be the end of  Wildebeest Migration Safari for 8 days with Kilibound Adventures.
