6 Days Pleasing Tanzania Safari and Zanzibar Beach Holiday will start in Arusha town and ends in Zanzibar, safari will give you an amazing experience in Northern Tanzania National Parks such as Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, not only National Parks but also you will have the chance to visit one of the Wonderful Tanzanian Conservation Area Known as Ngorongoro. This Conservation is the 8th wonder of the world and descends into the crater for a game drive, later on, you will fly to Zanzibar Beaches to complete your holiday in amazing Zanzibar Beaches. You will view spot a lot of wildlife species found in Serengeti National Parks and the great annual migration of Wildebeest in the Serengeti if you have time at a specific time of the year. Some of the common animals to spot in these national parks include; lions, zebras, warthogs, antelopes, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, wildebeest, and if you are lucky you can also see Cheetah, the black rhinos, and Leopard. Apart from Animals, you will also see different species of birds like flamingoes, ostrich, Hong bills, secretary birds, Pelicans, and others. Day 0: Arrival in Arusha
We will pick you up from Kilimanjaro Airport and continue to Arusha town for dinner and overnight at the hotel in Arusha. Depending on your time of arrival, a complimentary town tour to explore Arusha town, visit a local market, and a traditional bar can be arranged. Later you will be taken back to your hotel for an overnight and dinner ready to prepare for your Safari tomorrow.
Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast depart for Tarangire, Tanzania’s third-largest national park and sanctuary for an unusually large elephant population for game drive, with a picnic lunch. Majestic baobab trees are an interesting feature of the park, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. Animals concentrate along the Tarangire River, which provides the only permanent water supply in the area. There is a great diversity of wildlife including lions, leopards, cheetahs, and up to six thousand elephants. In the evening you will depart to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Tarangire to Manyara National Park
After breakfast, you will drive to Mtowambu town on the floor of the Great Rift Valley, for a guided village tour. In this small but very busy town where people belonging to all 120 tribes in Tanzania live together, you will have the opportunity to see the typical daily life of Tanzanians. Your walking guide who comes from that area will take you to rice and banana plantations where you will interact with the people working on their farms, you will visit a traditional beer bar/factory, you will visit a school and carvings factory where the famous “Makonde” use ebony black wood to carve different statues. You will then continue to Lake Manyara national park for a game drive with a picnic lunch. In this small but very beautiful park with dense forest, you will have the opportunity to see lots of monkeys, giraffes, elephants, impalas, dik-dik, and flamingos in the lake and if you are lucky you may spot the rare tree-climbing lions. Later on, we will leave Lake Manyara National Park to Karatu town for dinner and overnight
Day 3: Manyara to Ngorongoro
After an early breakfast, depart with a picnic lunch and drive to Ngorongoro Crater for a full day of game drive. The crater has a good number of lions and cheetahs, and it is the best place to see the rare black rhino. We will descend to the beautiful huge caldera with about 600m deep full of animals and birds, the only animal that you won’t see here is a giraffe. Where you will spend the day watching animals and birds until later afternoon. You will have a picnic lunch inside the crater and then drive back to Arusha for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Transfer to Arusha airport to Zanzibar
After breakfast you can have a town tour based on your flight timetable, you will be transferred to Arusha airport for your flight to Zanzibar. Upon your arrival in Zanzibar, you will be picked up and transferred to Nungwi for dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 5: Zanzibar Island Tour
You will spend the day relaxing at the beach. Alternatively, the lodge organizes activities like village walk, scuba diving, snorkeling, jet-skiing, fishing, and others that you can book and pay for directly. All meals and overnight will be at the hotel.
Day 6: Zanzibar Island Tour
After breakfast, you will drive to Stone town where you will do a spice tour (Zanzibar spices are very famous worldwide). Later you will visit the historical Zanzibar Stone town. In the late afternoon, you return to your hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 7: Departure
You will wake up and have a leisurely breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast we will be transferred to Zanzibar airport for your departure, depending on your international flight. You may want to fly to Dar es Salaam for your international flight connection as there is more flight options in Dar es Salaam.And this will be the end of Zanzibar Beach Holiday and Tanzania Safari for 6 days.
